But just because it's over doesn't mean it's over. Pastor Marilyn reminds us that it's not all "downhill" after Christmas. The point is we can find happiness in little things---after all, the story is really about a central figure who after all is just a child, the main characters who are a poor family, and the occasion that is an "outback" birth. The rest---kings, shepherds, angels---is just background music. God enters the scene quietly, tiny, new. Let's remain awake every day in 2012!!
